Aôthen Magazine (named after the Doric Greek term for the earliest dawn) is a magazine that is dedicated to all kinds of Graeco-Roman classics-inspired content—artworks, poetry, essays, reviews, photography, and more—as a celebration of both archaeology and history.

What To Submit:

Anything Classics related, including:
Poetry (up to 5 poems per submission)
Essays (opinion or otherwise) (max. 2500 words)
Short fiction (max. 1500 words)
Photography (eg. of artefacts or sites)
Art (digital or traditional)
Classical translation extracts (max. 2500 words)
